Ravanan Sanskrit bramin to Tamil king

Is Ravana is a Tamil king ?

This a story of Sanskrit speaking bramin how and why he becomes a Tamil king?

Ravana was born to the great Aryan sage named Vishrava and his wife, the Rakshasa princess Kaikesi, in the Treta Yuga. Ravana was born in a place called Bisrakh Village in Uttar Pradesh. and sage Vishrava name his son in Sanskrit name Ravana.  Later, Ravana became the king of Sri Lanka. And Ravana is not only a king; he is also an author who wrote books in Sanskrit named Ravana Samhita, Arka Prakasham and Siva Purana.

When Ravana was born for an Aryan sage (Vishrava), he was born in the Aryan community (Bramin), born in the Aryan state (UP), was named in Sanskrit, and wrote books only in Sanskrit. Then why is he claimed as Tamizhan?? It’s a big question.

why is he claimed as Tamizhan

Reason why Ravana is claimed as Tamizhan is because the country which is ruled by him was filled with Tamil people who invaded Sri Lanka only in Cholas and Pandiya’s ruling period for trading, where as the Cholas and Pandiyans dynasty have a long historic relationship with Sri Lanka so people of the Cholas and Pandiyans lived in Sri Lanka for more than 2000 years, so people started to think that Sri Lanka is a Tamil speaking country and that Sri Lanka belongs to Tamil people only, so they claimed Ravana as But the actual truth is that Tamil people went to Sri Lanka only in the Chola and Pandiyans periods.

The second reason is that the Aryans have powerful mythological kingdoms and kings like Ayodhya's Lord Ram, Hasthinapuram's Pandava, and Kauravas' Dwaraka Lord Krishna, but in the south we don’t have any mythological kingdoms or kings, so they are ready to accept the most powerful and richest demon, Ravana, as their king. Since Ravana is a great devotee of Lord Siva, who is worshipped as a Tamil god, this is another reason to accept Ravana as a Tamil king.

Before the Periyar period, nobody claimed Ravana as Tamil king. Periyar was the first person to address Ravana as Tamil king. From that time on, Tamil Nadu started believing Ravana as Tamil king.

Why is the demon Ravana celebrated as a hero in Tamil Nadu?

The reason why demon Ravana is celebrated has a hero in Tamil Nadu because Tamil people have a misconception the asura means low caste people so since Ravana is a asuran so people think him as a low caste person kill by high caste person lord Ram so they treat Ravana has hero and lord Ram as villain

But the actual truth is that Ravana belongs to the Bramin community, which is treated as the top level of community in India, and Ram belongs to the Kshatriya community, which comes below the Bramin community.

And the atheist use him as hero for spreading Hatred Towards Hinduism (created a dram that hindu god killed Tamil king)
